About Us
Discreetly nestled in a quiet and established cul-de-sac in Remuera, Small World offers a well-maintained, purpose-built indoor and outdoor space.
Small World is a modern and premier early childhood centre that started operations in 1999. We are supported by an innovative management and teaching team that are committed to providing quality early childhood care and education. With a dynamic and experienced teaching team, we strive to create a stimulating learning space. As a team, we have a passion for teaching and learning and simply love what we do. Our resources, facilities and programmes set new benchmarks and we continue to improve our knowledge in these fields.
Small World is open from 7.30am to 5.30pm Monday to Friday and accepts enrolments for children aged 6 months to five years. Our core educational programme includes specialist motor development and expressive art sessions led by expert and established teachers in our purpose-built gym. As the children approach school age, they have the opportunity to be part of The Enquiry Room – a learning space that supports children’s emerging skills and confidence as they prepare for school.
Tiffany Anderson
Centre Manager

Tiffany has been working at Small World since 1998. She holds a Bachelor of Education in ECE from the Auckland University of Technology and is a fully registered teacher.
Nila Patel
(Bachelor of Education)
Nila is fully registered and has worked in Early Childhood for over 10 years. She works with our children in the Over 3s area.
Tracy Young
(Bachelor of Education ECE)
Tracy is part of the Kiwi teaching team and is provisionally registered. She has worked at Small World since February 2009.
Sheena (Sneha) Pragji
Sneha has worked at Small World since May 2002 and is part of the teaching teams in the Tara and Tui rooms.
Karima Adamson
(Bachelor of Education)
Karima works with our toddlers in the Under 3 areas and is provisionally registered.
Melissa Murray
(Bachelor of Education ECE)
Melissa began at Small World in February 2009 and is the team leader in the Pukeko room. Melissa is provisionally registered and has worked in early childhood education since 2004.
Angelique Moroney
(Diploma of Teaching ECE)
Angelique first began working at Small World in July 1999. Angelique is currently working with the 3 and 4 year olds.
Vasana Khamchana
(Diploma of Teaching ECE)
Vasana is one of the teachers in the under 3s. She has worked at Small World since December 2005.
Tracy Jensen
(Certificate in Professional Cookery)
Tracy is the Small World chef and has been providing the children (and staff) at Small World with delicious, nutritious meals since 2006.
Anna Hu
(Diploma of Teaching ECE)
Anna is part of the Takahe teaching team and has worked at Small World since January 2006, and in the field since 2000. Anna is a provisionally registered teacher.
Sarah Gault
(Diploma of Teaching)
Sarah has been working in Early Childhood for about 20 years. She works in the over 3s area and is fully registered.
Monika
Monika is our Administrator and has been with us since June 2011.
Jasmine Fairbrother-Robinson
(Diploma of Teaching ECE)
Jasmine is the teacher in the Tara Room. She is fully registered and started at Small World in April 2011.
Lina Cardona
(Diploma of Teaching ECE)
Lina has worked at Small World since 2008 and is part of the teaching team in the Morepork room.
